Promise Village Academy & Community
Promise Village Academy USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization for Maasai children in Tanzania, dedicated to ending poverty through education.
Renowned herders and warriors, the Maasai are a historically nomadic tribe of close to 2 million people throughout Kenya and Tanzania. An estimated 10,000 Maasai people live in the villages served by PVA.

With each child we educate, we inspire hope, resilience, and the promise of a better life for generations to come. PVA is more than just a charity for education: we are a catalyst for sustainable change.

At PVA, we strive for a world where Maasai children are no longer limited by their circumstances. We believe education is one of the most impactful ways to end poverty.

Discovery Tour 2025
Promise Village Academy hosts Tanzanian Education Discovery Tours, so our contributors can witness our poverty reduction mission firsthand. These tours serve a dual purpose—offering a deeper exploration of daily life in Tanzania, and providing training and support so that our PVA teachers can better educate our students. We invite you to join our nonprofit educational organization on one of these remarkable expeditions.
2024 Austin Benefit
We are so thankful to everyone who joined us in Austin, Texas, in June 2024 to celebrate our mission of finding solutions to end poverty for the Maasai people.
